ÁFRICA / AFRICA - Johannesburg

No dia 05.03 já estava em Johannesburg e fui fazer um Safari de 3 dias no Kruger Park, com uma empresa chamada Viva Safari e fiquei alojada numa "tree house", uma espécie de cabana. Um lugar cheio de aventuras para se sentir parte do Safari!   http://www.marcscamp.com/

Foi uma experiência fantástica onde pude ver 3 dos BIG FIVE como eles chamam. Os 5 animais a serem vistos são o elefante, a girafa, o búfalo, o leão e o leopardo. Consegui ver os três primeiros e também outros como zebras, cervos, macacos, etc.

 

(March 5th I was in Johannesburg for a three-day-Safari at Kruger Park with a company called Viva Safari. The accomodation was at the Treehouse Lodge and If you are an adventurer person, this is the kind of place to stay!

This is a fantastic experience and you can see the BIG FIVE, as they call it: elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions and leopards. I could see the first three ones and also zebras, impalas, wildebeest and others.)

Na volta a Johannesburg paramos no Blyde River Canyon, o terceiro maior Canyon do mundo.

(when we were returning to Johannesburg, we stopped at Blyde River Canyon, a scenic spectacle surpassed only by the Grand Canyon.)

 

 

  

De volta a Joburg (como Johannesburg é chamado pelos habitantes) fui fazer um city tour e conhecer Soweto, uma favela de 5 milhões de habitantes e local onde Mandela morou.

É impressionante ver como as classes sociais estão distribuídas, ricos e pobres juntos.
